Chilli burns up record books
A Lincolnshire firm has unveiled a new "monster of chillies" which it claims could set a new world record for its potency.
The Infinity Chilli is equivalent to drinking acid and has the same potency as 50 Scotch Bonnets, according to Fire Foods in Grantham.
It scores 1,176,182 on the Scoville scale against 2,500 for ordinary jalapeno peppers.
