Coble to appear at seafood festival
The Bridlington Harbour Commissioners are staging the festival to celebrate the town’s status as England’s premier shell-fishing port.
As well as the attraction of free samples of crab and lobster, freshly dressed on the harbour side, a range of maritime and heritage organisations will be attending, including the Coble and Keelboat Society, the new North Eastern Inshore Fisheries and Conservation Authority, the Whitby & District Fishing Industry Training School and the RNLI. Plans for the proposed Marina will also be on show and there will be a children’s quiz and treasure hunt.
