Cold War barriersold as forest land
Checkpoint Charlie's lesser-known Cold War contemporary, Allied Checkpoint Bravo, has been sold at auction for 45,000 euros (£37,691) to an anonymous buyer.
The 3.7-acre site has a building that once guarded a route into south-east Berlin, but it is so derelict the site was sold as forest.
