Comedy star Corbett taken ill at home
Ronnie Corbett collapsed while celebrating his New Year Honour, his wife Anne revealed.
The former Two Ronnies star was taken to hospital by ambulance after being taken ill at home in Croydon, south London, on New Year’s Day. He was then transferred to a private hospital but was allowed home last week.
The comedy veteran had been feeling weak on the day his CBE was announced last month. He was receiving medication following a knee operation.
Mrs Corbett said her husband had undergone a number of tests, all of which had come back clear.
