Company fined over worker's 20ft fall
A South Yorkshire painting company was yesterday fined £2,000 after worker John Henderson fell more than 20ft through a roof, breaking his arms and legs in several places.
Charles Painting (UK) Ltd of Thorpe Hesley, Rotherham, was also ordered to pay 1,000 prosecution costs after pleading guilty to breaching Health and Safety at Work regulations.
