Condition of M1 crash victim serious

A DRIVER airlifted to Leeds General Infirmary following a crash which left the M1 closed in South Yorkshire remains in a “serious” condition, police said last night.

A silver Lexus RX 300 was travelling north, near Barnsley, at around 11.50am on Sunday, March 11, when it spun out of control and went onto the opposite side of the motorway.
