Coronation Street 'role' for lawyer
When Coronation Street sought one of Britain's highest-rated family lawyers, Harrogate solicitor Marilyn Stowe was perfect for the part.
The soap’s producers approached her to ask for help with a looming custody battle that involves three of the soap’s characters: six-year-old Simon Barlow, his father Peter and his grandfather George.
Ms Stowe, founder of Stowe Family Law and the Yorkshire firm’s senior partner, was asked to help create a storyline as realistic as it was gripping.
