Cosmetics firm finedover river pollution
A cosmetics manufacturer has been fined £15,000 after residue from a face cream mixing machine leaked into a river and pond.
McCallum Manufacturing Ltd of Redbrook Business Park, pleaded guilty at Barnsley Magistrates’ Court yesterday to causing polluting matter to enter controlled waters. The firm had no previous pollution record.
