Countess at book launch

Patricia Countess of Harewood, visited a school near Leeds to launch a book.

The pupils of Gateways School, Harewood, have combined creative forces to compile a book which is an eclectic mix of poems, stories, observations, diary entries and facts combined with drawings, cartoons and school projects that provide an insight into a 21st century child’s mind. The Countess, shown looking at the book with Amber Osborn, 13, who designed the cover, has provided a foreword.

The book is called Gateways to Harewood, Tales of a House, a school and a village and is published by Scratching Shed Publishing Ltd. picture: steve riding
