Coup as Red Arrows set to fly above town

THE most recognisable aerobatics display team in the world will be showing off their trademark flying skills in Scarborough.

It is hoped that The Red Arrows will draw thousands to the seafront as they take on the skies on Armed Forces Day on Saturday, June 29.

Coun Tom Fox, leader of Scarborough Borough Council and chairman of Scarborough’s Armed Forces Day steering group, said: “To secure The Royal Air Force Red Arrows is a huge coup for Scarborough.”

There will also be a Sea King helicopter flypast, while on the ground, there will be performances by the Military Wives Choir and a veterans’ parade. For further information, email: [email protected]
