Couple in court over girl's death
The mother and stepfather of an eight-year-old girl found hanged in her bedroom appeared in court yesterday charged with child neglect.
Simon Moody, 32, and his wife Susan Moody, 24, of Mansfield, were charged after Charlotte Avenall, who had learning disabilities, was found dead at their home. They did not enter a plea and were bailed until March 12.
