Crews called out to pan fire in Whitby

Firefighters arrived at the scene, in Royal Crescent, at about 5pm yesterday (Monday).

They used a fire extinguisher, two breathing apparatus and a positive pressure ventilation fan to douse the flames.

Crews from Whitby, Robin Hoods Bay and Lythe were called to the scene.
