11-year-old boy among teens arrested after man stabbed in Leeds

An 11-year-old boy was among a group of teenagers arrested after a man was stabbed in Leeds.

Police were called to Whingate in Armley at 9.18pm on Thursday, May 14 after a man was stabbed in the street.

The 32-year-old victim was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

His condition is described as stable.

His injuries are not believed to be life threatening.

Three boys aged 11, 15 and 16 have been arrested in connection with the attack.

They are currently in custody.

A large scene is in place for forensic examinations and specialist searches,

Detective Inspector James Entwistle, of Leeds District CID, said: “We are treating this incident very seriously and are currently carrying out extensive enquiries to establish the full circumstances.

“We would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident or who has any information that could assist the investigation.”
