17-year-old boy killed after crashing off-road bike into Yorkshire field

Police are appealing for witnesses after a 17-year-old boy was killed after crashing a motorbike into the entrance barrier to a field.

A spokesman for Humberside Police said the force is appealing for witnesses to the crash, which happened just before 5pm on Saturday, April 11.

The 17-year-old was riding a blue and white off-road bike at the time of the crash.

The force said: "A 17 year-old boy riding a blue and white off-road bike collided with a field-entrance barrier on Castlehill Road in Bransholme, Hull.

"His injuries were very serious and he sadly died at the scene.

"A number of witnesses have already spoken to us but we are appealing for anyone else, who was there at the time of the collision or can help with our enquiries, to call us on our non-emergency number 101 quoting Log 397 of 11 April 2020."
