A 30-year-old man has been arrested following disorder at a pub in Doncaster Town Centre at the weekend.

At around 4.55pm on Saturday May 7 a large group were involved in disorder at the Paris Gate pub in St Sepulchre Gate.

Around 50 people are understood to have been involved, causing damage to the pub and reportedly assaulting customers inside.

A 48-year-old man suffered minor facial injuries as a result of the incident.

A 30-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of violent disorder and bailed pending further enquiries.

The investigation is ongoing and officers are keen to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the disorder.
