Appeal for information following nightclub assault in York

Police are appealing for witnesses to an incident which took place at Kuda nightclub in York, which has led to a man suffering serious injuries to his leg.

The victim, a 26-year-old local man, was dancing on the dance floor of the club when it’s believed he was struck. He then suffered an assault which broke his leg in two places.

He has since had to undergo surgery to pin his leg back together.

The incident took place in the early hours of Thursday, April 7 at around 2.20am.

Police are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the incident or anyone who has any information which could assist the investigation to contact the York Serious Crime Team on 101 or email: [email protected]
