Armed police at scene after shot fired at Bradford house

POLICE are investigating after a report of a shot being fired at a house in Bradford.

Officers were called to an address on Stoneyridge Avenue just before 1.30am this morning. (Mon May 22)

Detective Chief Inspector Jaz Khan, of West Yorkshire Police, said: "Armed officers attended and found damage to a window which appeared to be consistent with the discharge of a firearm.

"No injuries were reported.  

"Enquiries are at an early stage, but this is being treated as a targeted incident. 

"There is not believed to be a wider threat to the community at this time and it is not believed to be linked to a firearms discharge in Parkway in the early hours of Saturday. 

"We are conducting a thorough investigation to find those responsible for this incident and anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity is asked to contact the team on 101, quoting 13170230201.
