'˜Bag for life' split as armed robbers stole cash and cigarettes from Dewsbury shop

Staff at the store, on Staincliffe Road, were closing up at about 6.55pm on Thursday when two man walked in.

One brandished a kitchen knife and forced staff to empty cash from the till into an Asda ‘bag for life’.

As he put cigarettes into the same bag, one of the handles to split before both men escaped.

They were both about 5ft 8ins tall and stocky. They had their faces covered and were wearing hooded tops but are thought to be white.
