Bomb disposal team called to Huddersfield house

A bomb disposal team  removed a  suspected World War Two device from a property in Huddersfield today.

West Yorkshire Police were called just after 1pm today (Mon Jan 21) to report of a suspected World War Two device at an address on Lydgate in the Lepton area of Huddersfield.

Police said a cordon was put in place and later lifted after an army bomb disposal unit removed the suspected device.
