Bradford man charged with terrorism offences
A 27-year-old Bradford man will appear in court in London tomorrow accused of disseminating terrorist publications.
The man, from the Heaton area of the city, who has not been named, is due to appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court charged with offences under Section 2 of the Terrorism Act 2006.
He was arrested by the North East Counter Terrorism Unit, which covers the Yorkshire area, in October following an investigation into potentially suspicious social media postings.
No further details have been released about the nature of the offences.
