Bradford man on terror charge over social media posts
A MAN from Bradford has been charged with terrorism offences, following a series of posts on social media sites.
Sagheer Hussain, 38, has been charged with three offences of Disseminating Terrorist Publications, contrary to Section 2 of the Terrorism Act 2006, the North East Counter Terrorism Unit said.
Hussain was arrested by officers from the unit on January 14 and a property in Bradford was searched in connection with the inquiry, it said.
He will appear before Westminster Magistrates Court on Thursday.
