Hide AdBradford Magistrates’ Court heard that Lupidi was charged with two counts of murder. Lupidi’s defence solicitor,
Alison Todd said: “Miss Lupidi is in a very distraught state – the court may understand that in view of the charges against her.”
Ruling on the case, lead magistrate Allie Coward said: “Court will send this case to crown court in her absence.”
Lupidi’s address was given as Bradford, but her Facebook page suggests she is originally from Italy. She will next appear at Bradford Crown Court on Monday November 23. Evelyn and Jasmine’s father, Carl Weaver, 31, is originally from Bradford. Speaking at her home in Keighley, his aunt Julie Britton said: “He’s just absolutely devastated. It is like a bomb has gone off in the middle of our family.”
Mr Weaver’s Facebook page is peppered with pictures of Samira Lupidi and their two daughters.
