The four men were recorded during the break-in at a house in Great North Road, Ledsham.

They stole a John Deere X300 sit-on lawnmower, worth £4,000, a child’s blue and white Suzuki LT50 mini quad bike and a green 5-tonne log splitter before loading the items into the back of a white Ford Transit van and driving off.

”The location is on the border with North Yorkshire and it’s possible these men could be from that area or further afield.

“They are quite distinctive as a group in that vehicle and we would like to hear from anyone who saw them in the area or who has any information about the stolen property.”

The incident happened at about 11am on Thursday, November 5, last year.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Det Con Monaghan at Elland Road police station via 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
