Business tycoon appears in court
Nadir, 70, appeared at the Old Bailey yesterday and entered not guilty pleas to 13 allegations against him.
They relate to the alleged theft of £33.1 million and 2.5 million US dollars from Polly Peck between 1987 and 1990.

Hide AdNadir, of Belgravia, central London, was allowed to remain in the well of the court as he entered his pleas.
He had been due to face trial yesterday but the proceedings against him have been delayed and the hearing will now start at a later date.
Nadir remains on conditional bail. At one stage, the tycoon was listed as number 36 or the Sunday Times Rich List in 1990.
