Car damaged by a firearm in targeted attack in South Yorkshire

Police are investigating after a car was damaged by what is believed to have been a fire-arm.

At around 11pm on Saturday it was reported to police that a VW Gold parked outside of a property on Pitt Street in Rotherham had been damaged by what is thought to have been caused by a potential firearm.

South Yorkshire Police said it is currently investigating what they believe to be a targeted attack and would like to speak to anyone who may have any information about the incident, or who saw what happened.
