CCTV appeal after attack in York Stone Roses bar

POLICE investigating an attack on a man in the Stone Roses bar in York have released a CCTV image of a man they want to speak to.

North Yorkshire Police said an altercation between two men in the King Street bar led to one of the men being assaulted and suffering significant leg injuries.

It happened at around 12.30am on Saturday May 20, but police only released details today. (Tues Aug 8)

A North Yorkshire Police spokesman, said: "Following extensive enquiries, police are appealing for the public's help to identify the man pictured, as he may have information which would assist the investigation.

"Anyone who witnessed anything, or anyone with information which could assist the investigation is asked to contact police on 101, select option 2 and ask to speak to PC Francis Hawthorne. You can also email [email protected]
