Child sex abuse suspect found dead on railway

A man suspected of sexually abusing boys in North Wales care homes and a Suffolk boarding school has been found dead.

The body of Kenneth Wheatley, 62, from Dodworth, Barnsley, was found on a railway line near his home town days after his arrest in April on suspicion of historic child sex offences at Kesgrave Hall school near Ipswich.

He was one of two men arrested by Suffolk Police and news of his death on April 12 emerged yesterday as the force confirmed a third man, 68 and from north Norfolk, had been arrested.
