Cowardly robbers target elderly couple in home
Police are appealing to the public for help after masked men forced their way into the home of two elderly people and stole a substantial amount of cash.
South Yorkshire Police said an 87-year-old man and an 89-year-old woman were at their home in Rossington, near Doncaster, when the men broke in around 11.25pm last Thursday.
The man received minor injuries to his shoulder after being hit by one of the raiders.

Hide AdPc Craig Nicol said: “We believe this is a targeted attack on an elderly, vulnerable couple. I would urge anyone who has any information regarding this incident to please come forwards to help us catch those responsible.”
