Driver rushed to hospital after mystery crash in Barnsley

A 32-year-old man was rushed to hospital in the early hours of today with serious injuries after his car left the road and ended up on its side.

The crash was at around 1.25am, when a blue MG ZR was travelling along Moor Lane towards Great Houghton in Barnsley.

According to South Yorkshire Police: “For reasons unknown, the car left the road and ended up on its side in woodland next to the carriageway.”
