Driver sought after cyclists hurt in Doncaster crash

Two cyclists were hurt when they were hit by a car whose driver failed to stop in Doncaster.

Police are appealing for the driver of a Ford Mondeo, who was driving along Cadeby Lane towards Melton Road at about 1am on Dunday when it was in a collision with the cyclists, who were travelling in the same direction.

One of the cyclists, a man in his 20s, suffered serious injuries as a result of the collision. The other cyclist, a man in his 30s, suffered minor injuries.Both were taken to hospital where they remain.

The driver of the car failed to stop at the scene.
