Elderly man beaten by teenagers in Hull

The 76-year-old man from Hessle was walking alone through Hessle Square when he passed two young men walking in the opposite direction, outside the Coral betting shop.

The victim greeted the men by wishing them goodnight, before continuing with his journey.

The men then allegedly turned back and assaulted the man, punching him in the face, head and stomach.

After the assault, the men allegedly laughed and walked off in the general direction of Hull Road.

The incident took place between 11.30pm and 11.45pm on Sunday, November 8.

One of the suspects is described as white, of slim build, 5ft 6ins tall, aged between 17 and 18, wearing white tracksuit bottoms and a dark jacket.

The second suspect is described as white, of slim build, between 5ft 6 and 5ft 8ins tall, aged 17 to 20, wearing a dark hooded jacket.
