Escaped prisoner arrested in Hull
Police have arrested a prisoner who absconded from HMP Hatfield and Young Offenders Institute near Doncaster.
Jeremiah St.Phorose, 27, was reported missing from the open prison in Thorne Road, Hatfield a fortnight ago, along with fellow inmate Darrel Bryce.
St Phorose, who was originally from Hull, had been serving an indefinite life sentence for offences including burglary and wounding.
He was arrested at an address in the city on Friday and has been returned to prison.
Bryce, 31, was serving an indefinite life sentence for firing a gun in Worksop.
