Fears for missing Bradford teenager

Police in Bradford say they are “very concerned” for the welfare of a missing teenage girl.

Simran Mehrose, 16, was reported missing at 8.40pm yesterday and was last seen in Birch Avenue, West Bowling.

She is described as Asian, about 5ft 4in tall and of slim build with long black straight hair and brown eyes.

When she was last seen she was wearing a peach coloured top and dark blue jeans.

Det Insp Vicky Lawrance, from West Yorkshire Police’s Bradford district safeguarding unit, said: “We are very concerned for Simran’s welfare and urgently need to find her to establish that she is okay.

“We would like to hear immediately from anyone who knows where she is or who has any information that could assist us in tracing her.”
