South Yorkshire Police was yesterday making joint enquiries with West Yorkshire officers after unconfirmed sightings of the two girls in the Leeds and Bradford areas but say they have not been found.

Diana is described as 5ft 2ins tall and of slim build. She has long brown hair with blonde highlights, and she has a tattoo on the right side of her neck with the initial DH.

She was last seen around 7pm on Christmas Eve at her home address on Sandhurst Terrace in Harehills, and was wearing a red long-sleeved top, a red hooded top with a black chequered pattern, light blue jeans with tears on both legs, and black Nike trainers. Patricia has dark brown wavy shoulder length hair and she was last seen around 1pm on Boxing Day at her home on Bramwell Street, Eastwood, wearing silver/grey jogging bottoms and the same colour sweatshirt.

Officers say the two teens have been missing before but that “numerous enquiries have been made in an attempt to trace them” since they were reported missing.

Detective Inspector Steve Ashmore of South Yorkshire Police said: “We’re keen to make sure the youngsters are safe so that their families can enjoy a Happy New Year. Our numerous enquiries to date have failed to locate these two girls but we are doing all we can to find them as soon as possible.

“I would urge people to look out for any of the four and let us know if they think they see them, or know where they may be.”

Police have appealed for information online and using social networks.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of the missing teenagers is asked to contact South Yorkshire Police on 101 quoting missing person reference CX3811 of 2013.
