Four teenagers aged between 13 and 16 arrested over gang rape of woman in Sheffield park

Four children - the youngest aged 13 - are being questioned over the gang rape of a woman in Sheffield, police have said.

A 21-year-old woman was raped in an incident at High Hazels Park in the city at around 6pm on Monday night last week.

South Yorkshire Police said at the time that detectives were looking for multiple suspects.

A spokeswoman for the force this afternoon said that officers had executed warrants in the Darnall area of Sheffield and that four teenagers had been arrested on suspicion of rape.

The boys, aged 13, 14, 15 and 16, remained in custody this afternoon.
