Four wanted after driver and passer-by injured in Leeds road rage attack

Two men, including a passer-by, were attacked in a road rage incident in Leeds.

The incident happened after a minor collision between two cars on Cherry Row in Lincoln Green.

Four people got out of one of the cars – a VW Passat – and battered the 35-year-old man who was driving the other car.

They then set on a witness, a 23-year-old man, knocking him to the ground and punching and kicking him. The man had to have ten stitches to a head wound.

The driver was less seriously injured.

The incident happened on the morning of August 29 but police have now issued CCTV images of four people they want to speak to.

Detective Constable Kate Hutton, from Leeds District CID, said: “I am very keen to identify and speak to the people captured in the CCTV images and would ask anyone recognising them contact police.”
