Graphic video: Shocking moment man is thrown 15 feet into the air by hit and run driver

SHOCKING footage of a man being launched up to 15 feet in the air after he was targeted and hit by a car has been released by police.

Officers are treating the horrific incident as attempted murder after the 30-year-old victim was driven at intentionally and knocked through the air. Police have released shocking CCTV of this hit and run The man landed up to 15 feet from the point of impact and the car was then driven around the car park again before a second attempt was made to drive over the victim. Norfolk Police have released the footage of the incident which happened in the Vicarage Car Park in North Walham in Norfolk at 12.55am on Saturday July. 23 Following the incident the car made off from the car park at speed towards Bacton Road. The victim was taken to the Norfolk and Norwich Hospital where he remains in a stable condition. He suffered a broken pelvis and serious leg injuries. Detective Chief Inspector Stu Armes said: “The footage we have released today is shocking and I appreciate some people could find it distressing. However it reflects the seriousness of the incident and how it could have had potentially fatal consequences for the victim.

“The victim has suffered serious injuries and has been left extremely distressed by his ordeal. “Whilst the motivation for the incident remains unclear, we are treating it as attempted murder and at this time we believe it is an isolated incident. “We are appealing to the public to assist us with our investigation. We have made a number of enquiries so far; however, we are keen to locate the car involved in this collision and would appeal for anyone who may know of its whereabouts to contact police. “We are also appealing for help to identify the driver of the car or the passengers who were in the vehicle at the time of the incident. It is believed there could have been up to three other people in the car at the time, one of them a female.
