Mr Michalak, who has links with Halifax, is white, 6ft and medium build.

Detective Chief Inspector Ian Scott, of the Homicide and Major Enquiry Team, said: “It is now a-week-and-a-half since Sebastian was last seen and he has not contacted his family. We are very concerned for his welfare and need to speak to him as a matter of urgency to check he is safe and well.

“Likewise - if anyone has any information about his whereabouts or thinks they might have seen him then I would urge those people to contact us as soon as possible.

“He left his wallet and personal belongings at home and this disappearance is out of character. His family are also very concerned for Sebastian’s welfare.
