Image of wanted man over burglary attempt issued by police

On Tuesday January 31, a 57-year-old woman heard her front door open on Reresby Road in the Whiston area of Rotherham and was confronted by an unknown man in her property.

He then ran from the address and is believed to have got into a white transit van and driven away.

Police are now asking that anyone with information or who may recognise the man in the e-fit image that has been released contact them on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111, quoting incident number 597 of 31 January 2017.
