Jail for wife who had baby with schoolboy
Leeds Crown Court heard the woman, in her 30s, first seduced the teenager when he was 13 and became pregnant by him when he was a year older, after continuing to have unprotected sex with him two or three times a week.
She lied to her husband that the child was his and continued the secret and illegal affair after the birth.

Stephanie Hancock, prosecuting, said when the boy was 15 and tried to end the relationship she threatened to commit suicide and on one occasion held a knife to her wrist in front of him.
When she discovered he had a girlfriend she threatened to tell her husband about the affair.
But eventually with the support of his girlfriend and family the victim did go to the police and a paternity test proved the baby was his.

Richard Reed in mitigation said she had children who were older than the victim and bitterly regretted her behaviour.
Jailing her, Judge Christopher Batty said when the relationship started she was dealing with a naive schoolboy “who hadn’t even decided what his views were on girls and relationships”.
“He has just been robbed of his formative years and now he has a son without any choice whatsoever.
