Jamie Burke charged with attempted murder of Humberside Police officer in Glebe Road shooting
A man has been charged with the attempted murder of a Humberside Police officer following a shooting in Glebe Road, Scunthorpe.
Jamie Burke, 29, of no fixed abode, has also been charged with possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life, possession of ammunition with intent to endanger life and possession of a firearm when prohibited for life.
The incident- which involved a plain clothed police officer - happened at Glebe Road, Scunthorpe at around 1.15pm on Monday.
Burke is due to appear at Grimsby Magistrates Court on Wednesday.
