Leeds ‘sex attacker’ on the run after he jumps bail

AN alleged sex attacker is on the run after skipping his trial at Leeds Crown Court.

Michael Tordoff-Brown, 49, from Wortley, Leeds, was due to appear in court on Monday for trial accused of sexual offences against a woman but failed to attend.

A West Yorkshire Police spokesman said: “Officers are also very concerned for his welfare.”

He said enquiries suggested Tordoff-Brown was recently in the Ambleside area of Cumbria.

He is described as white, about 5ft 10ins tall, with receding, cropped dark brown hair.

He was last seen wearing an orange T-shirt and jeans. He is believed to be driving a silver Renault Clio, registration YC06 XOZ.

Anyone who has seen someone fitting his description or who has any information as to his whereabouts is asked to contact West Yorkshire Police on 101.
