Light aircraft believed to have crashed onto A40 dual carriageway in Wales
An A road in Wales has been closed after a small private aircraft is believed to have crashed
Gwent Police confirmed that there had been an incident on the A40 between Raglan and Abergavenny today but did not provide further details.
Twitter users posted photos of thick smoke above the dual carriageway and claimed that a light aircraft had come down.
There is believed to be a private landing strip nearby.
