Man appears in court over '˜attempted murder' of woman in Leeds

A man has appeared in court charged with trying to kill a woman in an incident in Pudsey.

Kevin Miles, aged 48, of Moorland Drive, Pudsey, appeared at Leeds Magistrates’ Court on Friday morning charged with the attempted murder of the 47-year-old at Clifton Mews, Pudsey, on Saturday.

The woman is still recovering after allegedly suffering serious stab wounds.

Miles was remanded in custody after a brief hearing until February 26, when he is due to appear at Leeds Crown Court.
