Man charged following car-jacking spate in East Yorkshire

A man is set to appear in court tomorrow morning in connection with a series of aggravated vehicle thefts.

The 23-year-old, of no fixed address, was charged with four counts of robbery, four counts of attempted robbery, two counts of assault with intent to rob, possession of a firearm whilst committing a schedule one offence and possession of an offensive weapon in a public place.

He has been remanded to appear at Hull Magistrates Court on Monday.

All the charges relate to incidents in Hull and East Yorkshire on Friday March 3 between 3.20am and 7.30am where four cars were stolen.
