Man charged with indecent assaults at Yorkshire’s Ampleforth College

A 60-YEAR-OLD man from Bristol has been charged with indecent assaults against boys between 1978 and 1984, police said.

The locations named on the charge sheet are Westminster Cathedral Choir School, Westminster and Ampleforth College, North Yorkshire.

Scotland Yard said David Lowe, retired, of Charlotte Street South, Bristol, had been charged by detectives from a Metropolitan Police Service child abuse investigation team investigating historical allegations of sexual abuse.

He will appear on bail at West London Magistrates’ Court on June 25 charged with seven counts of indecent assault against seven separate victims, all boys aged between 10 and 14, at the time of the offences, allegedly committed between 1978 and 1984, in London and Yorkshire locations.
