Man in court charged with wife’s murder

A SOUTH YORKSHIRE man has appeared in court charged with the murder of his wife.

Raymond Anthony Wild, 47, appeared at Doncaster Magistrate’s Court, charged with the murder of his wife Sheila Wild, 49.

Detectives launched a murder investigation after the body of Mrs Wild was found at a house near the village of Blaxton, Doncaster, on Wednesday, February 26.

Today, Wild appeared in court wearing a grey sweatshirt. He only spoke to confirm his name.

The case was moved straight to Sheffield Crown Court, where he will appear on Wednesday for a bail hearing and will appear for a preliminary hearing on March 17.
