Man injured in Harehills attack: One arrested on suspicion of GBH

A MAN was injured in an attack in the Harehills area of Leeds last night.

Police were called after the 42-year-old man was attacked in Compton Road, Harehills at around 6.30pm yesterday. (Tues Feb 20)

He was taken to hospital for treatment.

His injuries are not believed to be life threatening.

A West Yorkshire Police spokesman said: "A 29-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm. He remains in custody and enquiries are ongoing."
