Man quizzed over bodies in buried van

A MAN arrested in Yorkshire was last night being questioned by police investigating a double murder.

The man, 25, was arrested on Monday on suspicion of murder in Huddersfield in connection with the deaths of Brett Flournoy, a 31-year-old boxer, and David Griffiths, 35, who went missing in Cornwall last month.

Devon and Cornwall Police said the arrested man was being held in Launceston. The move comes a day after police confirmed that a van unearthed in a field north of the Cornish town of St Austell last Friday contained two bodies.

Detectives using cadaver dogs and specialist underground search equipment found the human remains and van full of soil on land at Trenance Downs.
