A man sprayed a member of the public with petrol, then threatened betting shop staff before making off with cash from the till at a robbery in Doncaster.

Luckily no-one was hurt, but those involved were left shaken by the incident at the Mark Jarvis Bookmakers on Bentley High Street on Tuesday 4 July,.

It happened at around 5.40pm and the suspect the fled in the direction of Millgate. He was wearing a grey hooded coat, blue jeans, black gloves and black balaclava covering his face.

Det Sgt Debra Renwick said: “Thankfully no one was hurt in the incident, however the victims were left shaken and I would urge any witnesses who may be able to assist with our investigation, to please contact us.”
